These Official Rules (“Rules”) apply to the Shopify Rebuild Giveaway (the “Giveaway”) run by Ataria Media. By entering, you agree to be bound by these Rules and by the decisions of Ataria Media, which are final on all matters relating to the Giveaway.

1. Sponsor

The Giveaway is sponsored by Ataria Media (“Sponsor”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), 5842 Main Street, Williamsville, NY 14221. The Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Shopify Inc.

2. Eligibility

  • The Giveaway is open to individuals who are at least 18 years old and legal residents of the United States at the time of entry.
  • You must own, or be authorised to act for, the online store you enter, and the store must be a real business that sells products online.
  • Employees of the Sponsor, their immediate family members and people living in the same household are not eligible.
  • The Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

3. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway runs in weekly periods. Each weekly period closes at 11:59:59 PM Eastern Time on the closing date shown on the giveaway page, and the next weekly period then starts automatically. Only entries received before a period closes count towards that period. Each period is limited to 15 entry slots. Once all 15 slots are filled, or the period ends, entries for that period are closed, whichever happens first.

4. How to Enter

  • Go to the giveaway page and complete the Store Check form (about 3 minutes) with accurate and complete information.
  • Provide your store’s web address, your name, business name, email address and the other details the form requires.
  • Tick the box to confirm that you agree to these Rules and to receive emails about your Scorecard and the Giveaway.
  • Limit of one entry per person, per business and per store in each weekly period. Entries made by bots, scripts or other automated means, or using false details, are not valid.

There is no cost to enter and no purchase is necessary.

5. Free Store Scorecard

Everyone who submits a valid entry receives a free Store Scorecard by email, usually within 3 business days. The Scorecard is provided whether or not you win and does not oblige you to buy anything.

6. Prize

  • One (1) winner per weekly period receives a Shopify store rebuild by Ataria Media, with an approximate retail value of $20,000.
  • If the winning store runs on another platform, such as WooCommerce, Wix, Squarespace or BigCommerce, it will be moved to Shopify as part of the rebuild.
  • Theme, app and Shopify plan fees, as well as domain, product, content and advertising costs, are not included unless we tell you otherwise in writing.
  • The prize has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash or another prize, and cannot be transferred or assigned.
  • Winners are responsible for any taxes and any other costs that apply to receiving the prize.

7. Winner Selection

Our team reviews every valid entry. The winner is the store we judge to have the most room to grow, based on the Store Check answers and our review of the website. The winner is chosen from the valid entries received during the weekly period, so your chances of winning depend on the number of valid entries received.

8. Winner Notification

  • The winner is announced by email to the address given on the entry form, on or shortly after the closing date of the weekly period.
  • The winner may be asked to confirm eligibility and to respond within 7 days. If a winner does not respond, cannot be reached or is not eligible, the prize may be forfeited and we may choose another winner.
  • After the winner confirms, we set up a kickoff call within one week. Most rebuilds take 6–8 weeks from kickoff to launch, depending on the store and how quickly the winner provides what we need.

9. Runner-Up Offer

Entrants who do not win may receive a runner-up offer by email. The offer is optional, you are under no obligation to accept it, and it is separate from the prize.

10. Your Information

We collect and use the information you submit as described in our Privacy Policy. By entering, you agree that we may use it to run the Giveaway, send your Scorecard, announce the winner and, where you agree, send you emails about the Giveaway. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any email.

11. General Conditions

  • We may disqualify any entry or person that tampers with the entry process, provides false information, or breaks these Rules.
  • We are not responsible for entries that are late, lost, incomplete, misdirected or not received because of technical problems.
  • We may change, suspend or end the Giveaway at any time if it cannot run as planned, for example because of fraud, technical failure or other events outside our control.
  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, by entering you release Ataria Media, its owners, employees and partners from any claim connected with the Giveaway or the prize, other than liability that cannot be excluded by law.
  • These Rules are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. See also our Terms & Conditions.
